Creative collective OKOLO (Matěj Činčera, Jan Kloss & Adam Štěch) is celebrating 10 years of it’s existance with retrospective publication OKOLO 10YEARS OF WORK 10 YEARS OF FUN. Limited edition of 150 pieces.
OKOLO creative collective was established in 2009 in Prague out of the desire to create exciting projects in design, architecture, art and lifestyle. Connecting diverse skills and knowledge in art history, curating, graphic design, craft and manufacturing, OKOLO became an universal design agency with open-minded approach and passion for exhibition realisations, books, collaborations, installations and other curated projects with aim to explore, describe, educate and explain the world of design in various contexts. During the last 10 years, OKOLO produced dozens of self-initiated and commissioned projects, always challenging the matters of design and architecture cultures.
From modest and completely independent self-produced booklets and magazines during the first years, OKOLO has evolved into an international studio, working with leading institutions and companies. This book, published for the 10th anniversary of our studio, presents two unseparated parts of OKOLO world. From one side of the book, selected projects from 2009 to 2019 can be found as a result of collaboration between all three OKOLO partners: graphic designers Matěj Činčera and Jan Kloss and curator Adam Štěch. This sample shows only work created together and does not extend to other individual projects, including writing, curating, graphic design, art direction, music production, footwear design, packaging design and more.
The opposite side of the book showcases just personal moments and memories through hundreds of photos taken during the last 10 years. The images reveal the personal side of OKOLO as a creative hub, always positive and surrounded by great friends and collaborators who are very important to the work we do and the lives we live.
